Emerging market and developing economies (EMDEs) have made significant strides in building policy frameworks to address ESG and climate-related risks, and to mobilize financing toward sustainability goals. Yet a critical gap remains: translating policy commitments into measurable outcomes for people and the planet. The financial sector, particularly regulators and industry associations lack practical guidance and tools to design effective frameworks, drive better information and data quality and improve reporting practices across financial market participants.
